摘要: This paper reports on a purposive survey study which aimed to identify needs for the development, delivery and evaluation of applied climate education targeted groups, improve knowledge skills better manage under variable climatic conditions. The sample consisted 80 producers other industry stakeholders in Australia (including representatives from consulting, agricultural extension sectors), with 58% response rate survey. included an assessment (i) levels Southern Oscillation Index sea surface temperatures, (ii) skill ability interpreting weather parameters. Results showed that despite many respondents having more than 20 years experience their industry, only formal or training undertaken by most was 1-day workshop. Over 80% listed were regarded as essential important, but 42% educators, 30% consultants 28% rated themselves competent applying such skills.
