摘要: It is argued on statistical and conceptual grounds that absolute error can be a meaningful measure of performance. When approximately half each group performs consistently either side the criterion, groups have equal algebraic variable means, leaving as only dependent to discriminate between groups. Additionally, invariably subjects are asked minimize in experimental situation. If researchers persist measuring motor performance through scores, judicious use appropriate.
