摘要: The commonly used transmutation rate of minor actinides in nuclear reactors is decomposed into four components, overall fission rate, Pu production MA and element rate. physical meanings these factors are described. rates two types highly-moderated PWRs, a MOX fueled Na cooled fast reactor, metal Pb reactor interpreted using the components. can incinerate most (79 kg GWth·year−1), this amount about times larger than thermal reactors. have large relative for 241Am potential incineration 241Am.
