TKRM: A Formal Knowledge Representation Method for Typhoon Events

摘要: Typhoon events can cause serious environmental damage and economic losses. Understanding the development of typhoon will provide valuable knowledge for disaster prevention mitigation. In age big data, sharp contrast between sudden increase mass information lack a appreciation mechanism appears. There is an urgent need to promote transformation services in field hazard management. Knowledge representation, as strategy symbolizing formalizing knowledge, affects acquisition, storage, management, application, basis prerequisite implementation services. Based on evolution law human cognitive habits, formal representation method (TKRM) proposed this paper. First, by analyzing characteristics events, TKRM framework with three layers consisting “event–process–state” was constructed, which used describe composition relationship different granularity events. Second, formed using finite state machine (FSM) reference, taking time location basic conditions, extending hierarchical parallel mechanism. Finally, rationality practical value were verified case study.
