摘要: Avian coronavirus infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) causes severe economic losses in the poultry industry, but its control is hampered by continuous emergence of new genotypes and lack cross-protection among different IBV genotypes. We designed a immunogen based on spike with consensus nucleotide sequence (S_con) that may overcome extraordinary genetic diversity IBV. S_con was cloned into pVAX1 vector to form DNA vaccine, pV-S_con. pV-S_con could be correctly expressed HD11 cells corresponding post-translational modification, induced neutralizing antibody response Vero-cell-adapted strain Beaudette (p65) mice. To further evaluate immunogenicity, specific-pathogen-free (SPF) chickens were immunized plasmid compared H120 vaccine. Detection IBV-specific antibodies cell cytokines (IL-4 IFN-γ) indicated vaccination efficiently both humoral cellular immune responses.
