摘要: Abstract A general model for the quantitation of spin-echo and gradient-echo artifacts in samples with macroscopic susceptibility inhomogeneities is developed. Its usefulness tested by comparing experimental images computer simulations cylindrical inhomogeneities. Positional displacements, phase shifts, diffusion sampling time effects, which are responsible local image distortions signal losses, calculated on a subpixel basis to provide quantitative comparison under various imaging conditions. The formulation will be useful interpretation susceptibility-related losses analysis at high field strengths. In addition effects NMR microscopy contrast properties particulate agents may simulated.
