摘要: The use of indigenous knowledge has been seen by many as an alternative way promoting development in poor rural communities parts the world. By reviewing much recent work on knowledge, paper suggests that a number problems and tensions resulted not being useful hoped for or supposed. These include emanating from focus (arte)factual; binary between western science systems; problem differentiation power relations; romanticization knowledge; all too frequent decontextualization knowledge.
