摘要: Abstract Olive mill effluent (OME) wastewater represents a serious environmental problem in the Mediterranean area. It has extremely high values of COD, BOD, and phenolic content. A new approach treatment steps composed settling, centrifugation, filtration is suggested to be used condition OME wastewater. The filtrate then subjected post-treatment process, namely adsorption on activated carbon. dynamic response phenols concentration, pH, using different concentrations carbon, shows peak at which maximum capacity achieved. for tested carbon reached less than 4 h. removal about 94%, while it reaches 83% organic matter.
