摘要: The influence of two types a styrene–ethylene/butylene–styrene (SEBS) triblock copolymer, one as received and the other functionalized with maleic anhydride, on model interfaces high-density polyethylene (HDPE) isotactic polypropylene (iPP) was investigated. Using special preparation technique, it possible to prevent gross interdiffusion at interface attribute problem an adhesion-dominated phenomenon. weak mechanical strength unmodified interfaces, iPP/iPP HDPE/HDPE, greatly improved by copolymer shown results T-peel test. morphologies peeled surfaces modified were analysed light microscopy. morphology both systems show differences, thus revealing different processes interactions SEBS iPP HDPE functionalization. best achieved using SEBS; functionalization greater in system. are good agreement proposed present authors elsewhere for concentration-dependent role binary iPP/SEBS ternary iPP/PE/SEBS blends.
