摘要: Nevada Nanotech Systems, Inc. (NevadaNano) has developed an automated, multi-sensor Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRN&E) detection system to perform a multiple-measurement, orthogonal analysis of trace chemical samples identify radioactive isotopes. One application is threat in shipping containers, where can be collected over long periods time (hours days) order detect low levels molecules radiation. This system, called the C-Scout™, uses Molecular Property Spectrometer™ (MPS™) - low-cost, low-power, micro-electromechanical-systems (MEMS) chip capable measuring numerous thermodynamic electrostatic molecular properties sampled vapors particles coupled with compact, highresolution, solid-state gamma spectrometer for identifying materials, including isotopes used dirty bombs nuclear weapons. C-Scout™ transmits results using radio frequency communication system. Here we provide overview design operation present from laboratory field tests.
