摘要: This paper introduces an application that uses a webcam and aims to recognize emotions of elderly from his/her facial expression in real-time. Six basic (Happiness, Sadness, Anger, Fear, Disgust Surprise) as well Neutral state are distinguished. Active shape models applied for feature extraction, the Cohn-Kanade, JAFFE MMI databases used training, support vector machines (ν-SVM) employed classification. In future, is thought be starting point enhance mood by external stimuli.
