摘要: Current hypotheses, based on physical and chemical theory, that account for bluegreen-blooms in lakes were evaluated Taechung Reservoir, Korea, during May 1993–November 1994. Seasonal patterns of chlorophyll (Chl) similar 1993 1994, but the taxonomic composition size structure phytoplankton communities differed between years. During August–September bluegreens comprised >80% total cell numbers net-Chl (fraction Chl>35 μm) was 63% Chl, whereas 1993, diatoms (Melosira) major taxa, ultra-Chl ( 25 kg μm−2), high water temperature (>28°C), reduced silica input. Low N/or N:P ratios concentration monovalent cations (Na+ K+) not determining factors this system, light pH seemed to act as secondary factors. Our study suggests magnitude frequency bluegreen blooms Asian waterbodies may be an intense monsoon, increased a weak monsoon.
