摘要: Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy is used to study the nature and efficiency of coupling between surface plasmon polaritons free-space terahertz radiation by metallic gratings made from brass rods a grooved aluminum plate. Reflection transmission mode measurements indicate very rapid decoupling with > 70% after accounting for scattering. Results good match theoretical frequencies within accuracy experimental setup.
