摘要: Blood samples of live-caught polar bears (Ursus maritimus) from Svalbard collected 1991-2000 (Period 1) and 2006-2008 2) the pack ice Barents Sea in Period 1, were assayed for antibodies against Trichinella spp. by ELISA. Of 54 cubs-of-the-year included 1 sample, 53 seronegative, indicating that exposure to infected meat is uncommon during first months life region. 30 mother-offspring pairs, 18 mothers seropositive with seronegative offspring (n=27), suggesting (1) maternal had dropped levels below detection limit time capture April (offspring approximately 4 old), (2) supporting experimental studies other animal models showing vertical transmission uncommon. Bear year older higher prevalence (78%) than (51%). There was no temporal change between two periods. The increased age both sexes. A positive correlation found anti-Toxoplasma gondii anti-Trichinella antibodies.
