摘要: The sweet melon fruit is characterized by a metabolic transition during its development that leads to extensive accumulation of the disaccharide sucrose in mature fruit. While biochemistry sugar metabolism pathway cucurbits has been well studied, comprehensive analysis at transcriptional level allows for global genomic view sink development. We identified 42 genes encoding enzymatic reactions melon. expression pattern cv Dulce was determined from deep sequencing performed 454 pyrosequencing technology, comprising over 350,000 transcripts four stages developing flesh, allowing digital complete pathway. results shed light on control fruit, particularly accumulation, and point concerted occurs
