摘要: A chiral chromane receptor has been synthesized which mimics the oxyanion hole of enzymes. In this H-bonds and cation–π interactions team up to generate an apolar host–guest complex with zwitterionic proline. This allows extraction only proline a chloroform phase, while no other natural amino acids are extracted. Due nature receptor, enantioselective from aqueous solution phase takes place. L-Proline provided easy method resolve racemic mixture, anisotropic effects, NOE CD studies revealed absolute configuration receptor. Modelling also support proposed structures. The presence oxyanion-hole motif in structure was corroborated by X-ray diffraction studies.
