摘要: One critical factor for success in characterizing metals polluting mining environments so as to be able eliminate them and subsequently recover these areas depends upon a speedy correct response the analysis of samples. Rapid, simultaneous, multi-element can undertaken using X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, versatile, non-destructive analytical technique commonly employed identify both major minor elements samples related environmental studies. An additional advantage this is possibility conducting directly on solid samples, which extremely convenient when dealing with that are difficult dissolve, such soils, sediments wastes. Moreover, recent years development spectrometers equipped digital-signal processors combined enlarged production, better designs excitation-detection, has contributed an improvement instrumental sensitivity, thus allowing us detect important Cd Pb at trace levels. In paper authors describe, basis their own experience, some interesting applications XRF spectrometry several types study dispersion within environments: (A) wastes, soils sediments; (B) vegetation used bioindicators or phytoremediation studies; (C) water operations.
