摘要: Abstract High grazing density has given rise to concerns about grassland degradation in periurban areas Mongolia. Moreover, whether livestock can increase without harming the vegetation these Mongolia and what types of policy measures should be implemented is not documented. As such, this study develops an integrated simulation model biomass, animal growth, management for a forest-steppe area northern conducts on long-term changes. The simulations show that, under current conditions, number animals will continue increase, while biomass decrease. Cooperative would lead higher incomes herders. Furthermore, herders’ population changes have significant impact adjustments, effects conventional economic measures, such as tax animals, limited if all other conditions remain constant. Consequently, synergistic herder cooperative contribute toward maintaining income preserving ecosystem.
