摘要: To satisfy the need of polymer connection in lightweight automobiles, a study on laser transmission spot welding using polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is conducted by an Nd:YAG pulse laser. The influence three variables, namely peak voltages, defocusing distances and type (type I (pulse frequency duration 25 Hz, 0.6 s) II 5 3 s)) to quality was investigated. result showed that, case same voltages distances, number bubbles for obviously more than II. failure mode base plate fracture along solder joint, strength greater weld pool diameter:depth ratio significantly It could be seen that there certain relationship between strength.
