摘要: The acoustical properties of polyester/ramie fibre composite materials that was applied as a sound absorbing material is discussed in this paper. aim to determine the correlation between Normal Incidence Sound Absorption Coefficient (NAC) and Random (RAC) composites. acoustic measurement with Impedance Tube Kit followed ASTM 1986 E – 1050 98 standard. portion ramie modified length varied from 0.25 cm, 1 cm 1.5 but at constant diameter. A volume fraction 20 % used.The Beevers method characterize fibre’s Results indicated absorption performance can reach high 99% frequency 1225 Hz aspect ratio 42. NAC RAC presented based on quantitative result.
