摘要: It is shown that the previously reported dual emission properties of biphenylene are most likely caused by an impurity absorbs around 2800 A, and emits fluorescence at 3000 A phosphorescence 4100 A.The first two electronically excited states discussed briefly in terms low‐temperature mixed‐crystal studies polarized light.
