摘要: Landraces are considered as storehouses of valuable genetic diversity. Understanding the structure this diversity and identification distinct clusters with complementary traits is an important goal for a sustained successful pearl millet breeding program. In study collection 214 accessions from different geographical regions Sudan, 11 West Africa, were assessed their using 30 simple sequence repeat markers (SSRs) evaluated 15 agro-morphological traits. The studied landraces was demonstrated by large number (400) detected SSR alleles. average polymorphic information content (PIC), gene observed heterozygosity SSRs 0.77, 0.82 0.72 respectively. A total seven phylogenic groups variable sizes identified. Low correlation between matrix (r = 0.20). PIC values obtained across linkage varied significantly. Weak differentiations among regions, suggesting high seed pollen-mediated flow regions. Analysis molecular variance revealed that variation within much higher than divergence promising developing new cultivars development heterotic which can be used to develop population hybrid varieties degrees therefore vigor stability, well intensify yield production in harsh environments Sudan.
