摘要: We analyze an architecture based on mobility to address the problem of energy efficient data collection in a sensor network. Our approach exploits mobile nodes present field as forwarding agents. As node moves close proximity sensors, is transferred for later depositing at destination. analytical model understand key performance metrics such transfer, latency destination, and power. Parameters our include: buffer size, generation rate, radio characteristics, patterns nodes. Through simulation we verify show that can provide substantial savings compared traditional ad-hoc network approach.
