摘要: Abstract The vitamin A derivative retinoic acid is known to be a potent agent for control of differentiation and proliferation epithelial cells exert profound effects on pattern formation during embryogenesis. Its action at the molecular level appears mediated by two distinct classes proteins: family nuclear receptors that regulates gene transcription in ligand-dependent fashion small cellular acid-binding protein (CRABP) which precise function remains elucidated. In this report, we describe identification (by cloning its cDNA) an isoform CRABP, referred as CRABP-II, expressed high levels mouse embryogenesis adult skin. We also show CRABP-II mRNA are induced least 50-fold upon treatment F9 teratocarcinoma with acid. The up-regulation encoding ligand suggests might involved feedback regulatory role mechanism differentiation.
