摘要: Large flocks of geese grazing on agricultural land near stopover areas are considered to cause economic losses. The effect by bean (Anser fabalis) winter wheat was studied for four consecutive years Lake Takern, an important area in southern Sweden, which attracts tens thousands geese. Yield grazed and ungrazed plots (exclosures) were compared nine fields. There no consistent differences between plots. winters milder than usual, probably favoured survival growth the wheat. It is suggested that during short periods autumn spring less harmful wintering areas.
