摘要: The chemical moieties during biofilm formation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa on aluminium plates were examined for a period 17 days. effect fluid shearing upon has also been investigated. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrum the taken fifth day showed significant differences compared with unattached bacterial cells, indicating that structural changes or modifications cell envelope had place development biofilm. Major observed in subsequent from 5 to 17. increasing intensity band corresponding symmetric stretching mode carboxyl group indicated interactions between and surface. Increased colonization was at air–water interface when middle bottom parts. Changes FTIR spectra bottom, middle, suggest mechanisms attachment differed by –COO– interaction interface, both NH3+ groups beneath water
