摘要: We present a theory that should explain the operation of apertureless near‐field optical microscope in limit smooth variations both refractive index and corrugation object. Special emphasis is made on ultimate resolution recent experiments by F. Zenhausern, M. P. O’Boyle, K.H. Wickramasinghe [Appl. Phys. Lett. 65, 1623 (1994)]. show that, order to obtain better than 7 nm, variation object has satisfy severe conditions.
