摘要: This chapter reviews the role of mechanical signals from biophysical microenvironment in controlling growth and spread solid tumors, with special emphasis on encoded by extracellular matrix (ECM). The molecular basis cell-ECM mechanobiological signaling is first reviewed, followed a discussion how various components these systems contribute to tumor growth, angiogenesis, invasion, metastasis. As case study, then discussed context malignant brain tumors. Finally, concludes exploring potential utility pathways creation novel anticancer therapies.
