Structural and dielectric properties of a new lead-free ferroelectric Ba0.8Ca0.2Ti0.8Ge0.2O3 ceramics

摘要: Abstract This paper reports the development of a lead free Ba 0.8 Ca 0.2 Ti Ge O 3 (BCTG) ceramics elaborated by conventional sintering process. The BCTG exhibits interesting ferroelectric and dielectric properties. XRD analysis showed that 20 at.% doping can be fully incorporated into perovskite lattice 1− x TiO . Dielectric properties revealed ceramic undergone second order phase transition type at around 120 °C independently used frequency behaves as displacive ferroelectric. Ferroelectric investigation P–E hysteresis loop could obtained low applied electrical field. compound may highly promising for applications lead-free materials to reduce environmental damages.
