摘要: Results: A chromosomal gene coding for the extended-spectrum b-lactamase (ESBL) SMO-1 was identified from a novel enterobacterial species that is taxonomically related to Rahnella aquatilis and Ewingella americana. The efficiently hydrolysed penicillins cefotaxime, shared 75% amino acid identity with plasmid-mediated SFO-1 Serratia fonticola, 74% ESBL CTX-M-2 originating Kluyvera spp. 72% chromosomally encoded intrinsic RAHN-1 R. aquatilis. Conclusions: We have recovered clinical specimen, constituting another potential source of acquired ESBL. significant similarities CTX-M-type enzymes.
