摘要: A criterion is presented for the applicability of cavity perturbation theory measuring permeabilities and dielectric constants materials. In literature, usually stated as: rf fields in with without sample are approximately equal. This same as stating that changes stored energy cavity, upon introduction sample, small. shown to be too strong, violated experiments. weaker but sufficient criterion, all commonly encountered Q values, over‐all geometrical configuration must small sample. Experimentally, this means measurements only percentage change real part frequency Data demonstrate above ideas.
