摘要: Abstract In animal livestock heavy metals are widely used as feed additives to control enteric bacterial infections well enhance the integrity of immune system. As these only partially adsorbed by animals, content in manure and wastewaters causes soil ground water contamination, with Zn2+ Cu2+ being most critical output from pig livestock. Phytoremediation is considered a valid strategy improve purity wastewaters. This work studied effect on morphology protein expression Thelypteris palustris Typha latifolia plants, cultured wetland pilot Despite absence macroscopic alterations, remodeling cell walls changes carbohydrate metabolism were observed rhizomes both plants leaves palustris. However, similar modifications seemed be determined alterations different mechanisms plants. These data also suggested that marsh ferns more sensitive than monocots. Whereas toleration activated latifolia, appeared slight toxic effects due metal exposure. study clearly indicates could successfully employed situ phytoremediation systems, remove at concentrations ten times higher legal limits, without affecting plant growth.
