摘要: A wet electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is considered as an effective technology for the control of dust and acid mist after flue gas desulfurization. In this study, a lab-scale ESP was designed to investigate collection with residual SO2 in gas. Results showed that efficiency reduced presence SO2. This finding attributed sulfuric aerosol formation during corona discharge process. An exponential increase number concentration observed increasing applied voltage, which could be 2 orders magnitude higher than without discharge. Fractional size distribution indicated penetration ratio extremely low, range 0.1–1.0 μm. The only detected when specific energy density exceeded threshold value.
