ICT Student Teachers' Judgments and Justifications about Ethical Issues

摘要: In this study, Turkish ICT student teachers’ judgments and justifications in four scenarios involving ICT-related ethical problems were investigated. Scenarios designed based on Mason’s (1986) issues: privacy, accuracy, property accessibility. The study was carried out the fall of 2010. We used critical incidents technique (CIT) - a qualitative research approach- data gathered via structured questionnaire. questionnaire conducted face-toface with an in-person interview. Participants 35 teachers from Faculty Educational Science at Ankara University. associations between different categorical variables analysed Fisher’s exact test. Open-ended questions through content analysis. findings revealed that gender does not affect teachers. Furthermore same reasons reported by who have taken course ethic those course. Moreover, issues considered accessibility found as most controversial issue. addition to it observed number do attain right due lack knowledge copyrights, intellectual policies web sites.
