摘要: The objective of informing and educating the public about risk issues seems easy to attain in principle, but, practice, may be difficult accomplish. This paper attempts illustrate why this is so. To effective, communicators must recognize overcome a number obstacles that have their roots limitations scientific assessment idiosyncrasies human mind. Doing an adequate job communicating means finding comprehensible ways presenting complex technical material clouded by uncertainty inherently understand. problems not insurmountable, however, if designers information programs are sensitive difficulties.
