摘要: Abstract Supersonic separation is an alternative technology potentially applicable in bulk H 2 S removal from natural gas containing high concentration of S. The spontaneous condensation the Laval nozzle precondition separation. An Eulerian-Eulerian two-phase model non-equilibrium behavior developed to predict characteristics CH 4 -H binary during supersonic expansion. effects feed concentration, operating parameters and geometry on process are investigated. results show that vapor nucleates at adequate level supersaturation rapid expansion nozzles. When inlet mole fraction increases, nucleation occurs much earlier more can be condensed into liquid phase. Condensation further enhanced by increasing pressure decreasing temperature. increment ratio improve performance as flow expanded further.
