摘要: Abstract Highly purified acidocalcisomes from Trypanosoma cruzi epimastigotes were obtained by differential centrifugation and iodixanol gradient ultracentrifugation. Lipid analysis of revealed the presence low amounts 3β-hydroxysterols predominance phospholipids. Alkylacyl phosphatidylinositol (16:0/18:2), diacyl (18:0/18:2), phosphatidylcholine (16:0/18:2; 16:1/18:2; 16:2/18:2; 18:1/18:2 18:2/18:2), phosphatidylethanolamine (16:0/18:2 16:1/18:2) only phospholipids characterized electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry (ESI-MS). Incubation with [ 3 H]-mannose isolation allowed detection a glycoinositolphospholipid (GIPL) in these organelles. The sugar content acidocalcisomal GIPL was similar to that present microsomal fraction but amount galactofuranose inositol respect other monosaccharides lower, suggesting different chemical structure. Taken together, results indicate T. have distinct lipid carbohydrate composition.
