Characterization of the antioxidant system during the vegetative development of pea plants

摘要: The antioxidative system was studied during the development of pea plants. reduced glutathione (GSH) content higher in shoots than roots, but a greater redox state existed roots compared with shoots, at least after 7 d growth. 3-d-old seedlings showed highest oxidised ascorbate (DHA), which correlated oxidase (AAO) activity. Also, exhibited DHA their AAO activities antioxidant enzymes were much roots. Ascorbate peroxidase (APX) activity decreased progression growth both and whereas (POX) strongly increased reflecting correlation between POX enhancement Catalase from reached values nearly 3 or 4-fold monodehydroascorbate reductase (MDHAR) young more mature tissues, decrease MDHAR noticed 11th day. No dehydroascorbate (DHAR) detected plants DHAR lower those MDHAR. In GR growth, an increase seen on 9th days. Finally, superoxide dismutase (SOD) specific SOD shoots.
