摘要: The increased usage of directional methods communications has prompted research into leveraging directionality in every layer the network stack. In this paper, we explore use 3 to facilitate routing highly mobile environments. We introduce Mobile Orthogonal Rendezvous Routing Protocol (MORRP) for ad-hoc networks (MANETs). MORRP is a lightweight, but scalable protocol utilizing (such as antennas or free-space-optical transceivers) relax information requirements such coordinate space embedding, node localization, and mobility. This relaxation done by introducing novel concept called table (DRT) which maps set-of-IDs each interface direction provide probabilistic based on direction. show that achieves connectivity with high probability even environments while maintaining only about destinations. Additionally, compare various proactive, reactive, position-based protocols using single omni-directional interfaces multiple gains over 10---14 × additional goodput vs. traditional 15---20% interfaces. scales well without imposing DHT-like graph structures (eg: trees, rings, torus etc). also can be achieved need frequently disseminate position resulting scalability
