摘要: This invention relates to an improvement in a process for hydrogenating nitroaromatic composition namely dinitrotoluene by contacting the with hydrogen reactor employing monolith catalyst system. Broadly resides continuous, essentially solventless, adiabatic hydrogenation of toluenediamine plug flow system incorporating catalyst. The generally comprises steps: introducing feedstock comprised and reaction product components continuously into said having less that 30% weight solvent, carrying out under conditions; and, removing hydrogenated from reactor.
