摘要: In this article we present a theoretical approach to cognitive control and attention modulation, as well review studies related such view, using an auditory task based on dichotic presentations of simple consonant-vowel syllables. The reviewed work comes out joint research efforts by the 'Attention-node' at 'Nordic Center Excellence in Cognitive Control'. We suggest new way defining degrees systematically varying stimulus intensity right or left ear stimulus, thus parametrically degree interference conflict when assessing amount necessary resolve interference. first overview previous so-called "forced-attention" listening paradigm. then behavioral neuroimaging data explore suggested model, with examples from normal adults, clinical special ability groups.
