摘要: Recent experiments have shown how nematically ordered tactoid shaped actin droplets can be reorganized and divided by the action of myosin molecular motors. In this paper, we consider similar morphological changes potentially achieved under equilibrium conditions. Using simulations, both atomistic continuum, a simple macroscopic model, explore nucleation dynamics, shape changes, final steady state nematic droplet modified interactions with model adhesive colloids that mimic motor cluster. We show reorganization may occur in an colloidal-nematic setting. then suggest based on simulation models extended to stabilize tactoids.
