摘要: Clinical trials have identified secondary caries and bulk fracture as the main causes for composite restoration failure. As a measure to avoid frequent reinterventions replacement, composites with some sort of defense mechanism against biofilm formation demineralization, well materials lower susceptibility crack propagation are necessary. Also, restorative procedure very time-consuming technically demanding, particularly concerning application adhesive system. Therefore, together bulk-fill composites, self-adhesive could reduce operator error chairside time. This literature review describes current stage development remineralizing, antibacterial self-healing composites. an overview research on fiber-reinforced both introduced clinical use in recent years, is presented.
