摘要: Abstract Background To date there is no systematical report about blunt pancreatic injury focused on hemodynamically stable patients. This study reports our experience in this rare subgroup at a tertiary referral hospital. Methods A total of 58 adult patients were identified during 10-year period and their clinical data analyzed. Injury to the main duct (MPD) was basically confirmed by pancreatography or surgical findings. Results MPD disruption 36 (62%) more frequent neck body. The median time from trauma confirmation 14 days [interquartile range (IQR) 3–23 days] including admission 10.5 [IQR 3–20 days]. Patients with showed higher severity score, pancreas-specific complications longer hospital stays. sensitivity specificity initial computed tomography (CT) for 63.9% (23/36) 81.8% (18/22), respectively. mortality rate 7%, all deaths directly attributed injury. Complications occurred 22 (37%) 17 developed hospitalization. Time (odds ratio 1.132; 95% confidence interval 1.021–1.255, P =0.019) only independent factor associated unfavorable events among high-grade Conclusions not infrequent Physicians responsible delay diagnosis disruption, which primarily adverse outcomes. rapid, multidisciplinary approach may lead better outcomes
