摘要: Patents and licensing play a critical role in the process of converting scientific discoveries into products capable having tangible, measurable effects on public health. Scientists physicians engaged research have many reasons for learning basic principles procedures patenting licensing. Part One this chapter discusses fundamentals patents securing patent. Two context federal technology transfer, including how funding agreements affect patent rights, agencies, particularly National Institutes Health (NIH), license their own inventions.
