Mechanical properties and electric conductivity of Al-Zr alloys containing Si

摘要: Al-Zr alloys are qualified as high electric conductors having heat resistance by their peculiar recrystallization characteristics. However, there few reports on manufacturing techniques covering melting, casting, and heat-treatment procedures. The effects of casting temperature, mass ingots, treatment characteristics were clear shown in the previous reports. Preferable procedures importance raising temperatures containing silicon.In this study, silicon content conductivity Al-0.2% Zr-0.1% Fe alloy investigated. It was also concerned with two-stepped above properties.
