摘要: MR diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) was used to analyze the fibrous structure of aortic tissue. A fresh porcine aorta imaged at 7T using a spin echo sequence with following parameters: matrix 128 pixel; slice thickness 0.5 mm; interslice spacing 0.1 mm; number slices 16; time 20.3 s; field view 28 mm 28 mm. Eigenvectors from images were calculated for central image and averaged tensors eigenvector corresponding largest eigenvalue showed two distinct angles near transverse plane aorta. Fibre tractography within volume confirmed that fibre oriented helically lead . The findings correspond current histological microscopy data on tissue, therefore maps appear reflect alignment fibers in In efforts develop noninvasive diagnostic tools cardiovascular diseases, DTI may offer technique assess structural properties arterial tissue hence any changes or degradation
