摘要: Abstract Maximization of the steam efficiency a multiple stage evaporator employed for concentrating black liquor in pulp and paper mills carries immense significance relevance today’s scenario. Nonlinear mathematical models heptads’ effects backward feed flow with various energy saving schemes namely, steam-split, feed‐split, feed-preheating their hybrid operations have been developed. The economy as cost function translates problem into nonlinear optimal search problem. mass heat balance equations act equality constraints while vapor temperatures flows appear inequality constraints. formulated has solved efficiently to attain solution using Genetic Algorithm approach which demonstrates advantages convergence relative less sensitivity towards initial values versus conventional algorithms. simulations indicate that feed-split process arrangements could provide highest transfer across an optimum 6.47 consumption 6541.93 kg/h.
