摘要: To predict the properties of a composite, it is necessary to identify constituent materials, especially those fibre. Mechanical natural fibres (NF) are anisotropic and cannot be characterised in same way as isotropic materials. Therefore further characterisation needed determine their transverse thermo-mechanical behaviour. An understanding thermoelastic anisotropy important for defining performance potential composite applications. In this study, flax sisal where determined through combination experimental measurements micromechanical modelling. Dynamic mechanical thermal analysis techniques were employed characterise model unidirectional NF-epoxy composites over range off-axis loading angles. These results input into number semi-empirical models longitudinal The confirm high degree fibres.
