Density-dependent frequency shift of the hydrogen S2/1/ quadrupole line

摘要: Abstract The frequency of the S2(1) transition molecular hydrogen has been measured at 293 K over density range 1–4.3 amagat. shift in this was found to be − (0.0045 ± 0.0005) cm−1/amagat. This is approximately double magnitude which for S1(1) transition.
